The center is a complete arts complex with a 350 seat theatre and support facilities for the Bennington's Oldcastle Theatre Company, as well as two floors of art galleries. The design facilities combine events of graphic and sculptural arts with theatre, music, exhibits, and workshops.

Exceptional collection of Bennington pottery, military artifacts, antique touring car, furniture, paintings, toys, tools, dolls and more. Hadwen Woods nature trail and picnic pavilion. Administrative offices are open year-round, Monday through Friday, 10-6.
The Brattleboro Museum & Art Center presents the art of our time in a way that entertains, educates, and inspires audiences of all ages. A private, non-profit organization founded in 1972, BMAC is a non-collecting museum which produces frequently changing exhibitions of current art. Educational programs are available for children, teachers and adult learners. Special events pepper the calendar. The Museum Shop carries wonderful items to complete a visit.

Bennington Beledi Tribal Bellydance currently encompasses the locally acclaimed Sahidi Sisters, who perform at a professional level, and Sisters of the Shawl, a troupe comprised of aspiring students as well as full sister dancers. Both troupes fuse traditional tribal, alternative, cabaret and gypsy movement, dancing to a mix of traditional and alternative music.
